Today, I went to my holiday flat in Graechen to get the last things done before the guests arrive for their Christmas and New Year holidays. At home it was raining but when the train came out of the Lötschberg tunnel, we arrived in a snow covered landscape. Up in Graechen there were some 5 inches of new snow and a total of 10-12 inches already. The trees in the forest presented themselves like in a fairy tale…
